WHAT IS A DOOBIE?

Also known as Doobie Wrap, Dry Wrap or Roller Wrap Set. Your stylist will roller set your hair, dry it under a hooded dryer, take the rollers out, then comb/brush your hair around in a wrap with pins. Leave it wrapped for a while and when you comb it down, you will have big loose wavy curls with lots of body. Your stylist will show you how to wrap your hair at night and comb/brush it down in the morning. Doobies are $10 everyday at Mazuma Hair Salon. There is an additional $5 for hair beyond shoulder length and $2 charge for pins. You have the option to bring your own pins.

Doobies are healthy for your hair and allows you to keep the hairstyle without the daily hot curlers, blow dryers and flat irons in your hair that can be damaging. It's one of the most healthy hair styles you can have.

Doobies are the most popular hair style on the East coast, introduced and also known as the Dominican doobie.

WHAT TYPE OF CHEMICALS ARE USED IN MAZUMA HAIR SALON?

At Mazuma Hair Salon, we use all professional chemicals that you can not purchase in a beauty supply store. To name a few; we are using Essations, Matrix products, Silk2 products, Design Essentials products, Strait Request products, Paul Mitchell products, Redkin products & more.
